Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to by creating a Squad Streaks account. They're separate from the Privacy Policy, which covers your data — this page covers the service itself: what it is, what you're responsible for, and what neither of us can promise.
The service
Squad Streaks is a mobile app for a small group of people — a squad — to keep one shared fitness streak alive by checking in before a daily deadline. It's free to use. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no paid tier described anywhere in these terms; if that ever changes, we'll update this page and tell you before it affects you.
Your account
You need an account to use Squad Streaks, and you're responsible for what happens under it: keep your password private, don't share your login with someone else, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised. Registration is open to people 13 and older; an under-13 selection is refused on the device and no account is created.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate another person, or create an account for someone without their consent;
- post content that's illegal, harassing, or that violates another person's rights — every member can report or block content that crosses this line, and we act on reports;
- attempt to bypass a security control, access another member's account, or interfere with the service for other members; or
- use the app for a purpose it isn't built for, including any commercial resale of access.
We can remove content that violates this section, and — for a serious or repeated violation — suspend or close the account responsible. See Suspension and termination below.
Your content
You own what you post — your check-in photos, captions, workout entries, and squad messages. Posting them to a squad gives the members of that squad permission to see them, which is the point of a shared streak; it doesn't give us any right to use your content beyond running the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account removes it, as that policy describes.
Squads and the shared streak
A squad's streak is shared: it depends on every required member checking in before the deadline, and one missed check-in can break it for the whole squad. That's the mechanic the app is built around, not a bug — we don't compensate for a broken streak, a missed deadline, or another member's behavior inside a squad you've joined. A squad's owner controls who can join and can remove a member; we don't arbitrate squad membership disputes beyond the report and block tools already in the app.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including a specific feature, at any time.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Squad Streaks and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, as described in the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or terminate an account that violates Acceptable use or that we reasonably believe puts the service or other members at risk. Where practical, we'll tell you why.
In plain terms — this section and the next two are the standard legal language every service like this one carries. They say we can't promise perfection and can't be held liable beyond what the law requires. They don't take away the rights described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a broken streak, lost content, or a dispute with another member. Nothing in this section limits a right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change what you're agreeing to, we'll update this page along with the date and version at the top, the same way the Privacy Policy describes for that document. A change that alters what you're agreeing to is not left on this page to be discovered — the app asks you to accept the new wording before it continues.
